Fiber Fest Fun

Have you ever had so much fun that you forgot to take pictures?!?

The Kid ‘N Ewe Fiber Festival in Boerne, Texas, was the event that inspired three girlfriends, JB and Martha and I, to head for the Hill Country early last Friday morning. From the minute we rolled out the north gate, the three-way chatter began. I cannot describe to its full justice the joy of being with two Brits, both world travelers, for two and half days. The stories were hilarious and educational and the banter whole-heartedly inspired by a joie de vivre.

Throughout, from arriving at the Kendall County Fairgrounds and scouting vendor booths, making our nests at the LQ Inn – our home Friday and Saturday nights, selecting the best places to dine, shopping all day Saturday, to tea times and breakfasting together — we never stopped talking, sharing, and laughing.

This is just a brief note to let you know that we are all safely home again. I will try to paint pictures with words of our experiences within a day or two, because we were having so much fun, I forgot to pull out the camera!

Well sometimes you just have to live the moment not snap it and it certainly sounds like you were having fun. Wait to hear more

We truly had fun. I never even thought of a camera, I was lost in the moments we were sharing! I also got lost in all of the fiber I found!
